When
Williams Ironmongery was formed in 1995, it is fair to say that
from day one, it was always the intention never to follow the
rest of its competitors, being limited to products relating
doors and windows. On the contrary, the aims of Williams Ironmongery
have been to go beyond the normal realms of what most people
perceive an architectural ironmonger to be, and we hope this
is clearly reflected in the contents to be found within this
site.
Our
awareness of the needs of architects, designers, and end-user
clients, has set us aside from our competition; and within a
relatively short period, we have established a reputation for
quality, design and service. It was due to our approach to design,
that we were asked to market and distribute specialist products,
such as Sir Norman Foster's door handle series NF Novantacinque
produced by Fusital of Italy. We have since continued to develop
our portfolio of designer ranges, and can now list the names
of Arne Jacobsen, Renzo Piano, Richard Meier, Ricardo Bofill
and Aldo Rossi amongst many other respected innovators of design.
Knowledge
of architecture, and in particular of the modern movement, has
guided Williams Ironmongery along a specific path, and we are
pleased to introduce you to our company through this form of
communication, and hope that you join us in spreading the word
of good design. |
