Linie Design pile rugs are designed in Denmark by leading Scandinavian designers. The rugs are made from selected raw materials, and woven in India by adult weavers using old authentic traditional craftsmanship. We offer a choice of standard sizes and the possibility of making to your requirements. Linie Design’s production is regularly inspected by a non-government organization to ensure that the companies social codes of conduct are maintained throughout the supply chain. As a member of ‘Care and Fair’, Linie Design contributes to the building and maintenance of schools, kindergartens, hospitals etc, in India. Every Linie Design rug is individually made and therefore minor variations in colour, structure and measurements will naturally occur, even adding to the charm of each original piece. Bodil Jerichau Qualified textile designer / weaver, educated at ‘The Design School of Denmark’. Has been a designer for Linie Design since1993 and has furthermore designed furniture textiles and curtains for leading Danish and Swedish textile manufactures. |

Kim Naver Qualified weaver. Has had her own workshop since 1981. Has been awarded several prizes and recognitions for her works in Denmark and abroad. |

Malrene Harsaae Educated product developer 1987 at ‘Teko Centre Denmark’. Freelance designer in Italy. Has run her own design company since 1999. |

Marie-Louise Rosholm Textile designer MDD educated at the Danish School of Arts and Crafts. Designer for Linie Design since 1993. Own design studios in Milan and in Copenhagen. Development for leading Italian and Scandinavian furnishing and clothing industries. |

Marina Strumpher Independent textile designer based in Amsterdam. Well known for her innovative textile concepts, developed worldwide in an extensive range of home furnishing products. |
